Ontario's employer-supported pathway for foreign workers across TEER 0–5, with a separate pathway for eligible self-employed physicians.
Quick Actions
Introduced through Ontario's 2026 OINP redesign, this stream combines employer-supported job-offer categories with a distinct self-employed physician category.
Program information reviewed against official Ontario sources: October 3, 2026. Pentagon Immigration Services is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Ontario.
A permanent, full-time Ontario offer with the applicable experience or licensing route, education and language evidence. Recent Ontario graduates and listed skilled trades have specific rules.
A distinct route requiring nine months of qualifying experience in the actual position while lawfully residing and working in Ontario, plus CLB 4 and applicable education/licensing.
A separate pathway for eligible physicians with an accepted CPSO certificate, good standing and OHIP billing eligibility. Job-offer and employer requirements do not apply.
Job-offer applicants need a permanent, full-time Ontario position—normally at least 30 paid hours weekly and 1,560 annually—at the applicable wage level. Employer position approval is required.
The work must primarily occur in Ontario, be urgently necessary, avoid adverse labour-dispute effects, and meet current Job Bank wage rules. Changing wage data is verified manually rather than hardcoded.
The employer must satisfy operation, Ontario-premises, compliance, revenue, Canadian/PR employee-count and recruitment requirements. GTA, specified $500,000 regions and other Ontario locations have different revenue tests.
Eligible candidates register an EOI and receive points for published factors including occupation, wage where applicable, Ontario experience, earnings, status, education, language and region.
Eligibility and EOI scoring are separate. A higher estimated score cannot cure a mandatory eligibility failure, and meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee an invitation to apply. No minimum invitation cutoff is implied.
Deadlines and documentary requirements matter.
Where applicable, the employer starts in the Employer Portal. The applicant generally registers an EOI within 30 calendar days.
The profile receives points based on supported published factors. Registration does not guarantee an invitation.
If invited, the employer generally has 14 calendar days for the position-approval application and the applicant has 17 calendar days for the nomination application.
The program reviews eligibility, evidence and employer approval where applicable.
If nominated, the applicant proceeds through the applicable IRCC permanent-residence process; IRCC makes the final decision.
Questions adapt to your job-offer or physician pathway. Current wage compliance and judgment-based evidence remain flagged for professional review.
